IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Ships Record Number of Certificates in 2008

The IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council shipped 11.4 million certificates in 2008, according to Charles Yenkner, Executive Director. This represented a 15.4% increase over 2007. The increase was driven by a much greater interest on the part of laboratories, dentists and patients in the material content of dental restorations.
"Our goal is to enroll all the manufacturers and distributors of alloy and ceramic substructure materials into this voluntary self-regulatory program and to become even more widely recognized as a positive way to communicate material content." commented Dr. Mark Murphy, Dentist Representative and IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council Board Member.
