IdentCeram Certificates to be Provided by Ivoclar Vivadent
January 23, 2008

The IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council has announced that Ivoclar Vivadent, based in Amherst, N.Y., has become a licensee of the IdentCeram program. Effective immediately, Ivoclar Vivadent will provide IdentCeram certificates to all clients purchasing IPS e.max® ZirCAD zirconia blocks for use in Sirona inLab® milling machines, and to all clients who purchase cases milled in IPS e.max® ZirCAD from authorized milling centers.

Charles Yenkner, Executive Director of the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council, said, "Ivoclar Vivadent is an original founding company of the Council. It has had an ongoing commitment to our goals for many years now, and it's wonderful to see it become a participant in the IdentCeram program, too. It is a leader in the field of milled yttrium zirconia and a welcome addition to the IdentAlloy and IdentCeram family of licensees."

"The IdentCeram program will document the material content of IPS e.max® restorations just as it does for our alloy products," commented Pat Segnere, Ivoclar Vivadent VP of Technical Products. "The IdentCeram certificate assures the prescribing dentist that the restoration placed in the patient's mouth has been made with the proper material and milled according to manufacturer recommended specifications."
