There are a multitude of different dental materials available for dental prosthetic restorations. Only one independent organization specializes in documenting and communicating the content of these materials to Laboratories, Dentists and Patients: The IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council.
IdentAlloy/IdentCeram was created to help raise the standards of health care by providing documentation of dental alloys and ceramic materials. To earn a place in the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram program, member manufacturers voluntarily conform, to ADA-sanctioned guidelines for dental materials, good manufacturing processes and quality control systems. They agree to provide documentation supporting their content information to Identalloy/IdentCeram and to disseminate this information to their customers vis the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram certificates.
The widely recognized IdentAlloy & IdentCeram certificates identify the company, brand name and composition of the material used in a particular restoration, plus they include a recognizable symbol for proper insurance coding.
